The main requirement in the automotive industry concentrates on the after-treatment of produced parts. A coating (varnishing, powder coating, chromium plating …) of the produced parts has to be ensured in the majority of cases.
Münch Chemie International focuses its activities especially on this problem. Already in the development stage, the products are designed in a way that facilitates a surface treatment without any other preparations. A targeted raw material selection helps to avoid the outbreak of silicone plague. Having been awarded the Innovation Prize during the 2005 Druckgussmesse (die-casting trade fair) in Kielce (Poland) for the most innovative product range, which has been optimised especially for surface coating, is only one of many references.
