Münch Chemie International
The Release Agent Specialist

Aerospace Industry

The aircraft and space industry requires the use of high-tech materials. In many cases, plastic materials have replaced steel and aluminium as the classic metals. Here, composite materials offer a clear weight-related advantage, while ensuring identical or even superior stability values. The resins used in the binding process also require the use of a release agent.

The requirements on a release agent are similar to those made by the automotive industry. Especially the surface quality of the outer parts of the aeroplane has to be sound. Bruises are weak-points and can lead to major malfunctions. The after-treatment of the surfaces (varnishing, coating) may also not be negatively affected.
